• Admission Criteria

    1.Selection Procedure 
    The selection committee constituted by the PSNA College of Engineering and Technology , as per the guidelines of the Institution, will do selection of the candidates under this scheme.

      The selection is purely provisional and it depends on confirmation from the Anna University, Directorate of Technical Education- Chennai and All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi.

    Since the medium of instruction is ENGLISH at PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, only those candidates who have had English medium of education or English as one of the subjects in their qualifying degree alone will generally be considered for admissions. Or those students who are willing to undergo a crash programme in English Language for at least six months before the commencement of the course will be considered for admission.

    2. Selection Committee 

    The following selection committee, constituted by the PSNA College of Engineering and Technology-Dindigul as per the guidelines of the institution, will select the candidates for admissions into various programmes offered by the institution.

    3. Mode of selection
    The Selection Committee will scrutinize all applications and shortlist them based on merit. Those short listed candidates will alone be intimated.

    4. Documents Required
    The following documents are required for I year B.E/B.Tech and MBA along with applications*.

    1. Photocopy of  X mark sheet
    2. Photocopy of  XII mark sheet
    3. Photocopy of Transfer/Migration certificate
    4. Photocopy of the syllabus followed in the qualifying examinations
    5. Passport and visa copy / Copy of Citizenship card (for Nepal & Bhutan students only)
    6. Provisional eligibility certificate (PEC) from Anna University, Chennai, India
    7. Equivalence certificate from Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, India / AIU , Delhi
    8. Passport size photo – 20 copies
    9. Photocopy of  UG Degree Mark Sheet and Degree Certificate ( for MBA  only  )

    *Documents (6 ) & (7 ) may be arranged by the college.
    The originals of the above mentioned certificates must be surrendered to the college office at the time of admission for verification by Anna University –Chennai.

    5. Visa Requirements
    Candidates who are admitted under this scheme must obtain valid student visa issued by Indian missions abroad. 

    6. Fitness

    Candidates offered admission by our institution have to submit a medical fitness certificate in the prescribed format

    7. Payment of Tuition Fee 

    On receipt of the admission letter, the candidate has to pay the prescribed fee as indicated in the admission letter.

    Normally, the academic session begins by July / August every year. Candidates selected for admission are required to report to the institution on the scheduled date as mentioned in the admission intimation letter and pay the prescribed fees and take up admission. In the event of a candidate failing to do so, he/she forfeits her privilege of getting admitted on short listed basis.

    9. Hostel / Residential Accommodation
    Hostel accommodation is available inside the campus. Interested Candidates may apply to the Overseas Admissions Coordinator / Deputy Warden of SC/ST Hostel for accommodation. They have to pay the prescribed fee as per hostel rules. Separate blocks in the existing hostels are available for foreign students. The hostel mess (vegetarian) is run on dividing system.

    10. Admission withdrawal (UG, PG)
    Policy of refund 

    Before approval - full fee refund 
    After approval – the refund of approval fee and tuition fee will be calculated based on the number of days a candidate has attended the college.
