- Providing Training for a batch of Faculty of PSNA CET.

PSNA – TESSOLVE - Centre of Excellence
Outcomes of IIoT Lab
1. Modular skill based Industry-ready training and mentorship for the students, academic professionals and industrial professionals. Authorized certifications from Tessolve will be provided for completed participants.
2. Screening of trained students and assisting them in specific skills to access internship, placements, participating in events, competitions etc.
3. Assisting trained academic professionals in developing prototypes for their academic research activities.
4. Lab will provide special training, FDPs for academic members of other institutions and universities.
5. Lab with assistance from Tessolve and academic experts of the lab will provide consultancy services to other industries, factories in satisfying their custom requirements.
6. Lab will conduct tech events every year to throw lime light on the best prototype / work made by students or professionals.
7. Lab will act as a testing & validation centre to test products developed by other manufacturing units, companies / industries etc.
8. Lab will also act as a native R&D unit to Tessolve to carry out its own research activities with active participation of students, scholars and professionals.
9. Lab will take all necessary steps in conducting govt. or private sponsored FDP, workshops, training, industrial visit, events etc.
10. Lab will be made to be part of various associations and organizations to collaborate with various national and foreign organizations.
11. Lab will take all necessary steps in helping specific research scholars in raising grants for their research.
12. Lab will provide on-demand access to other companies wherever possible.

PSNA – VOLTECH - Centre of Excellence
The following are objectives of the Voltech supported Centre in the department.
• To provide industrial training.
• To facilitate research for faculty & students.
• To improve placements.
Scope of the Training:
To meet out the industrial needs in the core area of Modern Switchgears, Protections, SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) operations, Electrical System design, Electrical safety, Transformers and Power distributions. This is the newly created laboratory supported by VOLTECH Engineers (P) Ltd, Chennai. The advantages of Voltech Centre of Excellence are such as tighter quality control, prior analysis and realistic representations will truly enhance the students on technical skills which the power industries need.
Training Details:
The Training Lab offers training to the students and Industrial people in Modern Switchgears, Protections, and Electrical safety.
About 460 students and 17 our PSNA faculties have completed the courses through this CoE since 2019. 133 students have completed training in Modern Switchgears, Protections and safety during the academic year 2018-2019. 129 students have completed training in Modern Switchgears, Protections and safety during the academic year 2019-2020. 65 students have completed training in Electrical Safety and Testing Laboratory (1 credit Anna university approved course) during the academic year 2020-2021. 25 students have completed training in Electrical Safety and Testing Laboratory (1 credit Anna university approved course) during the academic year 2021-2022. 96 students (25 odd semester and 71 in even semester) have completed training in Electrical Safety and Testing Laboratory (1 credit course) during the academic year 2022-2023.
